After exhaust system changes, a check engine light may appear at startup. It can be unclear whether there is a real issue or a sensor reading mismatch. This adapter is designed for use in modified exhaust setups where catalytic components have been removed for off-road applications.

This adapter installs between the existing sensor and the exhaust system using standard M18 by 1.5 threading. An internal element sits between the sensor probe and exhaust flow, moderating what reaches the sensor to reduce the chance of catalyst efficiency codes such as P0420 and P0430 appearing on the dashboard.

The body is made from SS304 stainless steel for resistance to heat and corrosion. The internal mesh is designed to withstand high exhaust temperatures. It weighs 0.088 pounds and installs directly into place without cutting or welding.

The threaded design allows installation or removal using basic hand tools. It is intended for off-road or closed-course applications where exhaust system modifications are permitted.
